Suffolk County Bead tubeInspired by the county of Suffolk which has a beautifully diverse mix of low lying land, shingle beaches, crumbling cliffs, marshes, estuaries, and heathland. Our Suffolk County Bead is made with a small core of white glass which is rolled in a shimmer mica powder before being encased on one half with a bright yellow glass and the other a transparent lavender. We then wrap a stringer of white glass around the middle and swirl it to join.
The bead is made from white glass and then rolled in handmade frit ( tiny shards of coloured glass) The bead is then gravity swirled which is heating the colours at a very high temperature and allowing them to mix into one another
