The always blue river volcano

The always blue river volcanoI took this photo during winter 2023 when I was driving the famous golden circle on my way to the Geysir area. This river is always as blue as you see in the image and it always gives me chills when I visit the waterfall.

I can't help it but I see that skeleton face looking at the craters

It is a steamy volcanic area sourounded by lakes and mountainpeaks

and if you look close enough you could see more
