Maison Brotte La Rollande Crozes-Hermitage AOC Vintage:2023This wine is dark with hints of deep purple, intense blackcurrant and violet aromas with spicy notes of white pepper, liquorice, vanilla, black olives and a hint of laurel leaves. Harmonious and firm, suggestive of cherries and blackcurrant. Since 1880, five generations of the Brotte family have been making wines with passion and authenticity. Purple-red in colour

The area is a deep gravel terrace with an alluvial loess layer over the gravels

voluptuous and headily perfumed with sultry spices

present but well balanced

Deep ruby red at the centre fading to a red brick rim

and the resulting free-run juice was cool-fermented to retain its inherent fragrant qualities

Siglo Saco is undoubtedly the most famous wine in the Siglo portfolio

the brandy is added later
