Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc, Domaine Chante Cigale Langlois-ChateauA stylish organic white with inviting warm, spicey aromas. The full flavoured palate suggests poached pears and white peaches and a long, lifted finish. The domaine is located in the heart of the Chteauneuf du Pape terroir with the typical stony soil of galets rouls (rolled pebbles). A large part of the vineyard is located on the famous plateau de Cabrires, close to Chteau Montredon. Grapes for the white are from a 5 hectare vineyard in Travaillon.

The palate is fresh and fruity

Its name comes from the word “jalets” which is the Old French word for the pebbles left by alpine glaciers

It has nice Texture with some lemony brightness

The pale straw colour and aromas of ripe citrus fruits indicate the chardonnay origins of Pelorus nv

The vines are over 60 years old and situated near the plateau de Carbières (close to Château Montredon)
