Louis de Grenelle Chevalier de Grenelle Cuvée Réservée Saumur NV (1500 ml) Cotes De ProvenceOne of the last remaining family owned sparkling wine houses in Saumur, Louis de Grenelle, owns about 2 kilometers of these caves. All of the sparkling wine produced by the property is stored in deep, cool caverns, many of which were used during World War II by the French resistance. The grapes used to produce the sparkling Saumur and Cremant at Grenelle are grown on the hillsides surrounding the town and in the small hamlets just outside of Saumur.

Intense perfumes of exotic fruit and yellow peach

The nose brings to mind white peach and pear but also more floral notes such as peony

Aromas and flavors of pears in cream and limestone with a supple

Broad and open-knit

and grew with each year

with intense red currant

Château La Nerthe is one of the oldest estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and dates from 1560

perhaps even more than the previous vintage
