Machrihanish has an award winning beach and it is known for having some of the best surf in the UK. Our Machrihanish bead has been made in a pretty dark lavender glass representing the colours found during sunset on a summers evening. The bead is then carefully decorated in a handmade glass of ivory and silver leaf and twisted while

it is also known as the ‘Pineapple Island’ after its pineapple plantations

The beach at West Runton is a long stretch of shingle and sand with plenty of rock pools to explore at low tide

On a clear day you can see Portland Bill and to Start Point and Dartmoor inland

Half of the bead has been made with a deep purple glass and the other half in a special Light Ivory Lapis
