Château Patache d’Aux Médoc Cru Bourgeois Magnum 2018 €500 PlusChteau Patache dAux in the northern Mdoc, has a history dating back to the 18th century, with the first harvest recorded in 1720. Situated just 10 kilometres from the Gironde estuary, the name Patache has a dual meaning, referring to the maritime customs vessels that patrolled the estuary and the stagecoaches, depicted on the label, used to transport noblemen.

Matured in 50L Sherry and Spanish Oak casks

100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) primarily very old vines – 40 to 80 years old- from seven different villages in the province of Burgos

but to create bottles that reflect the personality of the producer

rosé and red wine

After months of exploration

green tea and chamomile

are jumping on this bandwagon - especially in terms of quality

to its addition of Sauvignon Blanc in 1982

It is elegant and balanced

it reveals a bouquet of a rare complexity

This composition then embraces a traditionally macerated red Pinot Noir
