HUGE Oval Silver Plated Tray U50 decorativeA really fabulous HUGE oval silver plated tray edged with a decorative rope pattern. This is a very heavy, super quality tray in amazing conditon. It has a few scratches and marks (see photos) but overall it is near perfect, a really fine example. Wonderful sitting on a sideboard to serve drinks on. Measurements: 61cm width by 46cm depth by 2. 5cm height Ref: U50

There is a thick glaze drip on one side of the rim and a tiny rust mark inside

the gold on the beak is fading now but it is still a great thing and would look fab on a bar trolley

Hallmarked and in very good condition

They feel wonderful to hold and have super chunky

fertility and good fortune so they were immensely popular in home  furnishings during the mid century
