Woven from wild grasses, this beautiful basket is made by the Tonga people in the northern Zimbabwe region of Binga. They were originally used for winnowing grains, but have been quite popular for home decor. Each has a loop on the back for hanging and is the perfect addition for a wall collage or as a solo art piece. Diameter: ~17"

as the weaver starts with the outer rim of the basket and moves towards the center as they weave
