SOLD(1937) Magna Label Alistair Diane's Dolls 1948SOLD by Diane's Dolls Antique 1930s Chad Valley Magna Series Teddy Bear "Alistair" Alistair is a fabulous antique Chad Valley 1930s MAGNA teddy bear with red white "Chad Valley Made in England" label retained to his foot pad. 12 inches in height, he's fully jointed with early pronounced snout, original glass eyes, nice nose, mouth, claw stitching and original cloth pads (pads are a little worn with old mends to wrists). Alistair has plenty of balding

but now his growler is not working

He's a solid little ted with decent coverage of shaggy golden mohair plush but areas of general balding (mainly to face)

The nose and mouth are hand stitched black yarn the bear has a quizzical downward grin and small triangular shield shaped nose

He is mohair and mainly straw filled

good nose/mouth stitching and nice coverage of mohair

Dither is a German Schuco Yes/No bear with bright orange mohair

jointed limbs with velvet pads

long thin black stitched nose and mouth

a shaved muzzle and has been very very loved

His eyes are old replacements and his nose has had extra stitches which might need removing
