S.T. Dupont - Classique Collection-Blue Lacquer ScissorsIn 1971, S. T. Dupont received a special order: Jackie Onassis wanted a ballpoint pen to match her lighter. The company did not manufacture writing instruments but decided to take up the challenge. S. T. Dupont's craftsmen were inspired by the brass and design of its Ligne 1 lighter. They transposed the vertical metal guilloche of the lighter mechanism onto the barrel of a pen. All the expertise of the company's goldsmiths was then called upon to
