The Ice Cream Bead LancashireIce creams and the seaside go hand in hand! Inspired by hot beach days out with a 99 in hand. Yes, it was a long winter and whilst waiting for those summer days to return, we came up with some crazy fun designs! Our Ice Cream bead is made with a core of turquoise glass to represent blue sky summer days. This is encased in clear glass before the surface is decorated with 5 little ice cream cones complete with flakes around the outside.

We chose this beautiful handcrafted chain which has been made in Bali

This area has also won an award from the Marine Conservation Society due to its beautiful clean waters
We have used a light sand coloured glass which has 'swipes' of turquoise glass on the surface to represent the tides moving in and out over the beach
The bead is then tumbled to give the surface soft sandy texture
We decided on transparent amber to represent the red stone cliffs that shelter this beautiful little bay with green marble for the ocean

Set on the edge of the beach and a mile or so from the town is the beautiful pine forest with its mass of dark green trees that provide a stunning contrast to the golden beach
