My paintings can be quite symbolic and in this it’s the colour yellow which is often associated with fun

I often ponder about the symbolism of things

Then you see an eastern rosella popping its head from a hole in a tree

I guess that what mindfulness is in part about – to focus on the present – to check in and see how you feel

This painting was inspired by a photo I took whilst visiting the Kennedy Ranges

I never remember where I have planted them and just love the surprise of where they will appear

but for me it’s their seeds … symbolic of new beginnings
