Edward Aldridge London 1741 Silver Ladlesenquire A truly beautiful and rare pair of George II silver gilt cast candlesticks, each with shaped octagonal bases shaped and stepped with delicately embossed shell and engraved floral decoration. The fluted columns decorated with a leaf pattern, rising above a circular knop to a shaped knop with conforming pattern to match the base. The capitals with matching leaf and floral engraving, surmounted by raised, circular sconces. Both candlesticks are
