They can be oriented so the bolts slide down or up, and can be installed so they slot into a receiver in the ground or door frame architrave, or into a surface mounted receiver on the frame. Our large version has longer bolts, letting you operate them easily without bending down or reaching up too high. Bronze is our boldest finish, but it isnt shiny or bright, so it has a subtle side
