This new and fabulous rhododendron was created by Marc Colombel of France, who has been working with tetraploid rhododendron parents to produce new plants with more chromosomes. The results are good. Both the leaves and flowers are larger with more substance, making them more tough and longer lasting. This type of rhododendron will be the rhododendrons of the future. We are fortunate

The plant is fairly vigorous

The reddish-pink foliage becomes blood-red as the weather cools and is excellent for floral arrangements

A profusion of white flowers turn this amazing plant from a wonderful lime green to pure white in late winter every year

wide flowers are white with a pale greenish-yellow blotch and have 3 to 4 flowers per inflorescence

A 10 year old specimen might be less than 10 inches across

and will be 8 ft tall and 3 ft wide in 10 years if staked
