Octomore 10.1 - super heavily peated - 6cl6cl sample Octomore 10. 1 107 ppm distilled 2013 bottled 2019 59,8% OB from Bruichladdich distillery, 10. 1 = from first fill bourbon barrels. scores: whiskybase 86 268 malt maniacs no score serge valentin 88 our own rating 89 90 points You expect a lot of peat and smoke, but the whisky is more oily and has a fruity sweetness. I can't explain why this is this good at just 5 years old.

There’s also an uncommon sweetness that’s seldom seen at the indies
