A deep nose with ripe fruit

Crafted in a cool

this red evokes cherry

and a hint of smoke

saline-driven fruit still coiled on the finish

and it hit a relatively normal alcohol level of 13

which gives it somewhat of a Jura character

If pairing with food

that is to say that it is sweeter than traditional champagnes

There is plenty of charm to the cassis and damson fruit but they are a little heavy through the mid palate which emphasises the grilled coffee and chocolate and adds bitter touches to the end of palate

The finish is very fresh and luscious with toasted notes in the background
